These rotating grinding tools come in different shapes, with a 3.1 mm harbor suitable for most mini machines like Dremel, Proxxon and other hobby types.
Designed to replace fragile stone rotaries. Use to carve Perspex, all composites except Kevlar, woods, ceramics, stone and vacuumed formed mouldings etc.
Running speed 5,000 - 20,000 RPM. Use at 10,000 RPM and slower for carving Perspex, Plexiglass, lexan etc. Will not chip or crack material. Recommended by EAA workshops for adjusting aircraft canopies.
The carbide surface is almost indestructible as long as you don't try to sand steel, alloy, glass or stone with it!
It can be dry cleaned with a bronze brush when getting dirty.
